Week 11 Maths Challenge

We have been studying Geometry in Room 2 this term. This week we have had a maths challenge which uses some of our knowledge of 3d and 2d shapes. We have been building castles and themes parks using geometric nets to make buildings and structures.

We made a castle. It was orange and green. We used a cardboard base to support it, then we made the four corners of the castle up after. Then we put the walls up. After that we put flags on the corner tops. Then we made 3D shapes to be the village. And then cut out the drawbridge and the moat.
