The internet can be a dangerous place but there are also oppurtunities and advantagys  but with good things there are always risks and threats.

 

Here are the strenghs

its everywhere,

it is very easy to get information,

you can learn new things,

privacy settings,

its reasonably cheap.

 

Here are the weaknesses:

bad people can access it,

it uses lots of energy,

it uses lots of data,

anyone can see who you are.

There are many risks of the internet such as anyone can acsess your personal stuff like personal pic,numberes and adresses.Another risk is spam.when there is a tab that pops up on your screen that says YOU WON 1,000,000.CLICK HERE TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE!!!!!!Thats spam.THe list of risks could go on but now i`ve got to move on...

Risks of the internet....

- viruses.

- spam.

-fraud.

-hacking.

- lying.

- others you don't know can access your personel page if it's not blocked. 

- stranger danger.

- people can change your pics, take copies and to offensive or innapropriate things with them.

 

 

How to manage the risks so you can use the internet safely.....

- don't click on spam. 

- don't save any passwords online.

- set privacy settings. 

- don't give any personel details like email, phone no.  credit card number !
