Asian Inquiry Extravaganza!

This week in Room 2 we had the display walk-around for our Inquiry work. As their teacher, I was so proud of the work produced and the way in which the kids showed the visitors around and discussed what they had learnt. Check out what some Room 2 students had to say about the occasion, and some photos of the event. If you attended the event, or would like to make a comment then please do use the comment function on this post. We love getting the feedback!

On the 31st of May Piwakawaka syndicate had their inquiry walk around. For inquiry we have been researching countries such as Thailand, China, Japan, India, Sri Lanka and the Phillipenes. We had 2 weeks to get toghether information and items for our display and put it up. Most of us had some wall space and 2 desks to use for our display. They turned out great! Our judges were, Mrs Stuart, Mr Rickard and Ms Moran. We had 1 winner from each class. The winners get to have a Asian banquet that the teachers will put on for them! It was very interesting to get to walk around the displays from other classes to see their work and it was amazing to see how much effort everyone had put into their displays! The food was delicious!
