'The box's arrival!

Yesterday a Box arrived for our class.

The box was from a class in South Korea. The box contained 4 t-shirts the class designed themselves, eco-friendly books and pencils, jigsaw puzzles and posters. We were all very excited when we found out that the box had arrived. We all sat down on the mat and opened it finding all the interesting items inside!

In return we are sending a box full of New Zealand icons we designed ourselves. We have made some things such as bookmarks, posters and flags. The box's arrival was delayed because it got damaged in the post and had to be sent to Auckland before being sent to Wellington. It was nice to see all the posters and t-shirts because they had made one poster with their traditional Korean dress, a traditional Maori dress, the New Zealand flag and their famous cartoon character Pororo the penguin kind of like Spongebob or Superman! They also had another poster with their hands traced onto it and a little message written inside. We found out that they eat alot of Peaches over there considering they had drawn a peach on a poster of traditional items in South Korea and on a t-shirt. On another poster they wrote their school song but it was in Korean so we could not read it!
