The Dirty Beasts: Literacy activity (Thursday wk 6)

1. Hamlet has a complicated family! Describe how you think he must feel about his mother and his uncle at the beginning of the play.

    1) He must of felt shocked and furios because his uncle killed his father just to make Gertrude(his mum)his wife.

    1.Shocked and angry.if i were hamlet i would
    kill his uncle staight away.
    2.Yes and no.No because it would be sinful
    and yes because if someone killed my
    father i would want revenge
    3.try and see what was wronge and invite
    him to play some sports
    4.No but atleast he knows hes done something
    wrong
    5.No. if she did she would probley be killed if
    she told anyone.
    6.Because he posses a threat to him because he knows
    he killed his father.
    7.yes.because her girlfriend died and his father
    died and his mother was sleeping with his mum.

    A: Angry and upset with his mother for moving so quickly and for marrying his uncle.
    2. The ghost of the king appears and tells Hamlet to seek revenge. Do you think Hamlet makes the right decision listening to him?

    A: Well in the end it doesn’t go so well for Hamlet so maybe not.

    A: What they did really go and do something that he likes doing.

    Hmm, he only killed the king to get the kingdom but then he is saying that he did wrong so I don't know.

    No I don't she doesn't show any signs of guilt in the performance.
